Dining options in Marfa are very limited. This is definitely "fine dining" here. Honestly it was okay. It would have been fine, except I felt our waitress treated us like she knew there wasn't much to choose from. She was snarky and entitled, even commenting on how fast we ate our main course. I'm sorry we were with a 10 year old, who is very well behaved and weren't in the mood for a 4 hour dinner. Shes excellent in most fine dining places. It's Marfa after all, not New York City. Yes, a 10 year old in Marfa is strange. That's not an excuse to be rude. If you want mediocre food in a lovely environment, this is the place for you. None of the food was amazing, it lacked inventiveness and flavoring. I would be just as satisfied at Chilli's, and at least there they would usually be friendlier. Go to Jet, the cocktails were better.
